After an early morning (by Carrie's standard) jog
in Central Park, we stopped for a photo opportunity at the Tavern
on the Green and one of the famous Chicago Cows
on loan to New York. On the right, Carrie has never quit trying
to impress Homer with her agility/coordination.
Here she is doing the "Stand on one foot by the Lagoon" trick which
earned her a 9.6 - excellent execution - but a low
difficulty factor.

The Birthday celebration
began at some restaurant where they filmed the Godfather XXII (or maybe
it was Jaws, I don't
remember). These are
the only pictures of the evening where all the participants are not wasted.
By the time the night
was over, Carrie's face
was as red as Homer's and his looked the same as the shirt. The good
looking lady who not only
had the courage to join
us for dinner - but who also picked up the tab is Leigh (and that is probably
misspelled).
Part of the "chores" associated
with the visit was to move Carrie to her new apartment. Well, since
it was well over 20
hours till move time - the
help consisted of getting boxes to pack. On the left was her old
place. All of it, bedroom,
living room, kitchen, and
bath - all within 20 feet. That is only a picture of a window on
the wall - you really wouldn't
want to see what's
happening on the street. The shot on the right is from the top of
her new place - this is the
kind of neighborhood that
sent trash to her old neighborhood. Mo and Maggie do miss playing
with the roaches.
