Time Marches On!
The timely updating of a webpage inherently takes
a tremendous amount of responsibility, not to mention the need
for one to keep their ear to social happenings around them. As I sift
through thousands of pages of notes since the last update - a few key happenings
beg to be mentioned. First, Happy 80th Birthday to Pa Murphy - whoever said
that hard living will cut short a life span didn't have Jimmy in his study
pool. Carrie & John have moved out of the big Apple
and into a home in Fairfield Connecticut - super, now she has both a last
name and a state of residency I can't spell. The
Storandt boys along with the eldest Russo got married - this is a bit like
the fall of the Berlin wall in terms of magnitude. It could be something
in the air as Evergreens most eligible bachelors - Kent & Donut
Mike - both got engaged (not to each other). Carrie
graduated from Columbia (a link for pictures) and Matt has started his MBA
at Northwestern. Speaking of Matt, rumor has it that he is
abandoning his golf game for the pursuit of a career and love life - say it
isn't so Matt. On a sad note, Kim Bitsie passed away - she was one of
the most out going, cheerful person I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
A new paragraph is required after every 13 sentences. The Panns
are expecting another grandchild and Nick won the Lagrange Country Club
Championship. Heywood has gone AWOL and rumored to be holed up with
Sadam. Margolis is throwing in the Jewish towel and converting to
Methodist. Niece Tracy graduated from Ohio University and her mother
Linda has been promoted to Regional manager with Home Depot. Gary
Storandt was turned down as a organ donor and wife Shara resigned her job
in protest. The annual boys fishing trip was canceled for the first
time in 13 years - but Jack went anyhow. Kathy Sullivan got a face
lift - should I have sent a card? Life is good - hope you enjoy the
latest group of pictures.
